Obviously got my House of the Dead in, which is fucking great. No question, a must have for the over 18 Wii owner. Got in Guitar Hero II from Gooz since I only played Tim's PS2 version into the ground. And Harvey Birdman for Wii. It's time.

Downloaded the FALLOUT TRILOGY for my netbook. Nice to have some pretty depthful--though slightly flawed--games to play on something as underpowered as an Asus EEE.

So for those of you who have been using Goozex, how have you been doing the shipping? I've just shipped my first game trade on the site and was curious. Buying a set of padded envelopes and printing labels from an office supply store, or some other means?

I've just been doing padded from the post office, given my infrequency of shipping. Kinda keep an eye out for any envelope sales in the paper. Delivery confirmation, no insurance, first class.

Drugstore near me sells perfect game-sized envelopes, cheaper than the Post Office.

Now, if I could only use them.

Got Far Cry 2 plus the DLC for it via Steam on Friday.

I am VERY glad I've got a high-end system to play this on. I absolutely love fucking with my enemies from a distance with a .50 Cal Sniper Rifle. Blowing up Propane tanks has never been so fun.

Fallout 1 and 2 should play PERFECTLY on that Triple-E of yours. Fallout: Tactics might make it chug a little, even though TECHNICALLY it's not part of the Holy Trilogy. :D

Good, that's basically what I did. I looked at the "Let Goozex print your shipping label" option and used that as a price guide, but wasn't sure if there was a Priority Mail social expectation like with eBay.

They best thing to do is to get a pack of padded envelopes at Target or Wal-Mart. I know its a difference of like 50 cents per envelope between those and the ones at the post office but that adds up. First class with delivery confirmation is the standard on Goozex. Some people use priority mail or UPS but not many.

Also, if you have a post office nearby, it's cheaper to go in and mail it out first class with DC than to use the prepaid Goozex shipping label. They apparently add some extra fees in for the service. Guess it depends if the fees are worth the convenience. Easy for me to dismiss it because my post office is literally half a block away.

In other news, got Tales of Symphonia Wii today as well as a copy of Otogi that was ruined with a fucking sticker on the artwork. I HATE this shit.

I can see that doubling as envelope weight flux so that the postage is adequate, but yeah. Ordinarily I would just drive to the post office for when they open as I often work from home, but my router died over the weekend and it cut my shipping response time down.

i was VERY close to buying Prototype today. i had been interested in this game for several months. but after finding out that there was a review embargo on the game until this friday, i knew that it was going to be a game that would never be worth full price. (see Alone in the Dark 360 hype.)

so instead i took my saved money and bought Bioshock (ps3.) its a game that i have heard nothing but good things about, but had never played it. so along w/ my Best Buy Reward Zone card, i spent a total of ten dollars on it. i also took the money spared on Prototype and put money down on:

Bayanetta (ps3)
Brutal Legend (ps3)
Left 4 Dead 2 (360)

i think i made the wiser choice.

I bought SMT: Devil Summoner 2, Dragon Quest VIII and Rogue Galaxy for the Ps2. I plan on checking out Odin Sphere soon though. Dragon Quest VIII is pretty damn awesome and I highly recommend it at only $10 used.
Now commencing Operation Pressed Ham!

Yeah, good luck getting to any of those other games. DQVIII took me over 100 hours to finish.

Got Resident Evil 2 for Dreamcast. Yes I accidently typed Resident Horror there at first.

Also bought Peggle for my iPod cuz it was a freaking dollar.
