buy one get one at game crazy...

GTA: Vice City Stories (mint/complete)
and
Rumble Roses (ps2)
total was 5 dollars.

Rumble Roses looked like someone masturbated on it, but it was the only game i was interested in getting for free.

Got JADE EMPIRE for around $2.50 with tax from a Play N Trade. Decided to go to the closest FYE to me (which is pretty far) and the sales at that particular store were not as crazy as the one's Tim has been finding. They had a B1G1 on select PS2, Xbox, and DS games at this store. I got Romancing Saga and Arc the Lad Twilight of the Spirits for $8 total, but that's it.

I consider myself extremely lucky to get as much out of FYE as I did. Usually when I see a sale on CAG, there's nothing left by the time I can get to the store, especially with FYE which keeps shifting their stock around to different stores to try to get rid of it, its so hard to find one that has a decent selection to maim.

Blazblue arrived today

The fiance and I took advantage of a B2G1 on new games coupled with a 10% off coupon at Best Buy yesterday. The spoils:

SMT: Devil Survivor
Broken Sword
Age of Empires: Mythologies

And I finally got that copy of Einhander that Darrin picked up for me last November! Thanks Darrin!

Last NAVA I picked up Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2: Grimore of the Rift at Digital Press, but since Z is bogarding the DS I've had to find an alternative SRPG fix. Joe_Cam posted Eternal Poison on his list and I picked it up. I'm hoping to be able to turn off the battle animations (load time?), but otherwise it looks great.

I reserved Persona 1 on the PSP at Game Slop (intentional spelling) and purchased Persona 3 Collector's Edition for $15 with the art book and CD as well.

As for the PSP, which is the best model to buy? I'm looking to invest in one.

I think the Slims are way nicer to hold than the older models. Substantially lighter as well.

Okay, thanks Tim. I was looking to get a 3000, but I heard there were scan line issues with the screen, so that kind of steered me away from that.

I have both a 1000 and a 3000 and I don't have scan line problems with either. if you aren't interested in the PSP Go! then I would second the notion of getting a PSP 3000.

I picked up Elemental Gimmick Gear and Draconus for the Dreamcast today at work. They were $5 a piece so I figured what the hell.

Actually, yeah. The 3000s are bound to go down in price in a couple months when the Go comes out too.

I swear this is the last time...

I don't exactly want the PSP Go. The price is a bit steep and I'm just buying the PSP for a few of the good games on it, namely Persona 1.

So, this was an interesting weekend.

I bought these for $300 off a guy on Craigslist:

The Neogeo cab is missing the actual board, but everything else seems to work fine. I also got a copy of Art of Fighting along with it (Which... I guess is slightly more exciting than getting World Heroes? I'm getting Magical Drop III *right now*)

Also, driving a uhaul is utterly terrifying if you've never done it before.

Here's some pics of a MAME cabinet I helped my friend Alex build. This thing is awesome.

Wow, that looks really good! I originally thought it would be really neat to do something like that, but I don't really have the time nor the tools. :\ That and I also sucked at wood shop.

On the bright side, the Mortal Kombat cabinet apparently stars Johnny Gary Busey.
