"The Dead Rising"

Saw this casting notice in Backstage (the industry newspaper that every actor in NY reads but probably never finds actual jobs in) today. And at first I was like, Hmm, I didn't even know anyone had optioned the rights to Dead Rising, and then I read the notice and I was like, Ohhh, it's... They're not... Yeeeeah.
N.Y. CASTING
'The Dead Rising'

Red Line Studios, Inc. is casting a teaser scene for 'The Dead Rising,' a feature-length action zombie film. The scene is intended for use as a marketing tool to raise funds for the feature to shoot next summer. Anastasia Konstantinou, prod. Teaser shoots for three to five days in and around NYC. Seeking—Ms. Reese: female, 28-35, Caucasian, a history teaching bombshell, attractive but independent and strong, athletic, stunts involved, must be able to swim, speaking/featured role; Cole: male, 17-20, Caucasian, high school senior, swimmer's build, "the boy next door" attractive.

So I'm just laughing a little bit to myself that, Jeez, these poor schmoes never even bothered to do a Google search to see if the name of their little zombie movie was already taken by a huge multinational intellectual property. I have a feeling they're in for a rude awakening once they start marketing this teaser trailer.
Oh, not in Utica, no...It's an Albany expression.
