Alien Swarm (PC)

Holy shit. This game is completely AWESOME.

It's 4-player co-op top-down 2.5D "Aliens" bughunt goodness, with individual classes that have their own particular uses.

Weld doors behind you to buy yourself some time, keep an eye on the scanner, and lock and load.

There is also an Experience system in place, so the more you play, the more goodies you can unlock and use. And yes Virginia, there is a Chainsaw.

Another quite handy feature, is the ability to choose MP3s from your collection in-game to play as "Combat Music" during certain confrontational moments scattered through the campaigns.

All I'm gonna say, is have this (Clutch - Electric Worry) loaded as your only Combat Song until you hit the first Cargo Elevator. 8)

Oh yeah. It's also COMPLETELY FREE on Steam. You have NO reason not to download this.

Edit: This SERIOUSLY should be mentioned on the next podcast.

Double Edit: You can use a Xbox 360 controller, or even a PS3 DualShock3 controller with this game, too! So you controller-freaks have no excuse to try this because you hate a mouse and keyboard. Read about it here
