A lot of roaches A LOT OF ROACHES.

GomTV announced today that 4 new maps are being put into the pool for GSTL next weekend and simultaneously ditching a few others: Steppes of War, Blistering Sands, Delta Quadrant and one other that's probably Jungle Basin. JB is getting dumped from the ladder soon too.

Hoping to see some new maps start popping up on the ladder soon.

I hope so too. I'm really sick of Blistering Sands.

Good news! I freed up space on my desk! Bad news! It's because my monitor busted. Worse news, it busted because a Razer Naga found it's mark directly into it.

I think you need to get some kind of a stress ball near your computer.

You should get a set of free weights to keep near your desk so when you get pissed just do curls until your anger is out or your arms don't work anymore. I'm serious, I did this when I was getting pissed at the new Punch-Out a couple years ago.

Just replaced my monitor with a really thin LED one. Not as high resolution (1900x1080, vs the busted one at 1900x1200), but looks really nice so far. Hopefully I don't get salty any time soon.

Day one of GSTL. Saw one of the new maps. It's that huge, HUGE map that you said really favored Zerg. Also, cannot believe Squirtle OCV'ed fOu. Apparently he was <puts on shades> super effective!

Stupid joke aside, I found this quote out of The Starcraft Bible:

"Don't take risks when you practice or cheese versus better players. The best way to improve is to play standard style over and over and not get angry after you get cheesed. Instead, learn to stop it" -MorroW

I won't get to watch any until I get the internet hooked up at the new house tomorrow since Gom won't stream on work computers for some reason. Anxious to binge on some Starcraft (watching and playing) after being down for the past few days.

Word. Then I won't give out any more spoilers then. Pretty anxious to get some more 1v1 games in, though I just gotta start relaxing when I play, and stop worrying when I lose, and instead re-watching the game, and finding out the exact time where I lose.

Yeah, you should keep in mind that you're going to lose half the time unless you're stupidly good.

True, but I'd honestly be heartbroken if I'm still in bronze league for my next 100 games or so.

I didn't bust out of Bronze until I'd played like 200 games. I distinctly remember being promoted on my 100th win.

GSTL is really interesting. I basically jumped in at the semis so I could at least have some suspense in my viewings. The dynamic is just so different with so many relatively unknown players going in and beating up the stars. There seems to be much more variety to the build orders as well. Lots of interesting stuff going on. I like it.
