I finally played SotD this week, and it ROCKS! Everything from the characters to the RE4-inspired gameplay to the hilarious dialog won me over. This game was a blast to play and I'm clamoring for more. Like everyone else in the world, I'm sad that there is no New Game +, but after one playthrough on Demon Hunter, I'm ready to go again on Hard.

I thought that the Big Boner and 2D stages were a fun diversion, but playing them three times to progress felt a little padded. The only times I really died were on the 2D stages and getting chased by Paula. There was plenty of ammo and health and the monsters weren't cheap to fight against. I'm just sad that I have to power up all my weapons again, and double sad that there will probably be no sequel.

My new favorite video game weapon is the Hot Boner.
