Starfox 64...IN 3D!

So I picked up the 3DS version of Starfox 64, and I went ahead and beat it really quick, considering the original didn't take long to beat either. But here's my thoughts on the game.

The visuals look great! the 3D works well in the game, and the textures look completely re-done, resulting in a much crisper, and better looking game than the original. The analog pad works very well for this game , and the controls seem spot on. Having the boost/brake buttons right next to the fire/bomb buttons takes some getting used to, though. Seemed easier on the 64 controller. Mapping the Summersault and U-turn on the D-Pad was a very smart idea, and I'm glad they did it. Gryo mode is not fun at all. Maybe your milage may vary, but I don't like it. The Voice overs sound different too. I don't know if they re-recorded it, or they went back to the original voice assets, and re-encoded it for a much better sound. Either way, it sounds way better...Slippy's still annoying and Falco is still an asshole.

If you have a 3DS, it's definitely worth the buy.
