This is not a joke.

gobbleskat wrote:I can't remember if I ever put up the recipe for Caipirinha or not, but here goes. Muddled lemons, limes, and oranges with about 2 tsps cane sugar/sugar in the raw. Fill the glass with ice, and then fill it with Cachaca (brazillian alcohal made from distiled sugarcane). Stir before you sip. A great summer drink...with a terminal velocity. I highly recommend it. It's up there with Mojitos for sipping in the sun.

Finally bought some Cachaca the other week and made myself a Caipirinha (or three). Wayyyy thumbs up.

LIMIT BREAK:
1/3 of glass: Spiced Rum and Southern Comfort. I prefer Soco, so I'm heavier on the soco.
2/3 of glass: Cream Soda
Put the liquor in first, make sure there's ice. Not a strong drink, but a very tasty one.
