We didn't record on time last week because we were scheduling in a very special guest. I should have the new episode up tonight.

As well you should be. It's kind of insane to me that we were able to get this person.

Bah! Also, I hate all Techno, not just Dubstep. My hatred of Dubstep is specifically due to the fact that it is everywhere all of a sudden.

Boy would you hate long car rides with me.

Despite your glowing praise of El Shaddai, the demo did too much damage to my desire to play the game for me to run out and buy it right away. It was never completely off my radar but with it coming out just before the fall release season it wasn't hard to wait out until it was under $20.

Well I am just happy that someone else agrees with me on a game as I tend to be the odd man out for most of them. 8)

I can't thank you guys enough for having me on. I really appreciate you guys taking time out and dealing with the crappy connection between Here and Buffalo. Also I had a lot of fun talking about games with you guys again. Hope to get on another podcast when I get back!

To Steve, what edition of Shadowrun were you playing?

I will echo Dave's sentiments about Sword and Sworcery. I played through it twice on the iPad when it came out and I will definitely be buying the Steam release to play through it again.

I played Silent Hill: Downpour on PS3. I tend to play single player games on PS3 and multiplayer on 360.

List of games to play "high":

* Any rhythm musical game
Rock Band, Guitar Hero, Etc... All of these games can pretty much be lumped together. There are a few notable exceptions (stated below) but this could go one of two ways: Get stoned solo, and become an amazing musical god, or, blaze up with a few friends, put the game on "No-Fail Mode" and go to town. It's almost guaranteed no one will get a perfect score, mainly due to laughing at each other's fuck-ups.

* Rez
This game was so completely made just for me. It is an absolute time-sink. Play this baked, and you can count on at least a good 5 to 6 hours of your life vanishing in no time.

* Any Civilization game, Turn-Based mode only
Now, this could be quite hard for some individuals, depending on the effect of their own highness. Some (like myself) will get very focused, and will absolutely love the micro-managing you end up having to do during a good game of Civilization. Others will get utterly confused, and have their ass handed to them.

* Team Fortress 2 - Medieval Mode Only
For the time being, this would be a PC/Mac only game, for the aforementioned Medieval Mode. Fire it up, then load up TF2, find a good Insta-respawn Medieval Mode server, and go to town. Recommended classes are Scout, Demoman, Medic, Sniper, and Spy. Heavy if you've got the balls and a pair of Killing Gloves of Boxing.

* Silent Hill 2
I've played through this game at least a dozen times, then I played through it high. Hooooooly shit, completely different experience. You will be startled by stuff you know is right around the corner. You pretty much get the same "virgin" experience you got the first time you played through the game. Strongly recommend against playing this game for your very first time through, buzzed. It'll fuck you in the head.

And now, some games your should not play high:

* Most traditional RPGs
One might think this would be a good idea, but it isn't. 90% of the time, you will end up falling asleep during a cutscene, or a long drawn-out battle.

* Katamari Damacy
After the first few challenges, you will find yourself getting quite bored, very fast.

* Metal Gear Solid 2
The storyline is already convoluted enough towards the end. Save yourself from the brain fucking.
I'm a bigger X-Strike fan than you.
