Drive down to Virginia and come watch it with me. We'll deep-fry some steaks or something. ;)

Seriously though, that's jacked up that you haven't received it yet. I got mine on... Monday, and I was really surprised that I got it that soon.

I need to watch it again...

dude, and now there are more X-Strike DVD's on my bookshelf than there are DS games. I think this trend should continue.

I love how it seems like Nth Mile is going to be coming out right after. Sweet.

I only watched the movie once so far as well as all the deleted scenes with & without commentry. Deciding if I wanna watch the movie a 2nd time before turning commentry on or not. And who the hell left the mic unplugged for the C4 scene? Whap the bastard in the back of the head for me.

Got it yesterday, watched it last night, was tired this morning but who cares.
Liked the movie overall. Some slow bits, but the funny parts made up for the fat. Props to Tim's performance as Liquid; my favourite character of the film. Best voice ever!

I still haven't received my copy, but this does not suprise me given X-Strike's tendency to "hate the playa." I did watch Kevin's copy though and it was as funny as the first time. All of the jokes still hit and the level of polish was fantastic. Plus, I learned something! Because I didn't know beer came in bottles either!

Yeah, you got it. We were all packing up the boxes and someone came across your packing slip and we decided to throw it out because we hate playas so much. Be glad we just threw your order out though, Juese had to talk me down from taking a dump in the priority mail box and sending it to you.

But seriously, I remember seeing your packing slip on shipping day so it must have got mailed out. Talk to Mr. Ekkebus to see if the mailing address was correct or not.

I recieved mine this weekend, and I must say, High props to X-Strike for such a hilarious release. I overheard about this release when I was at Otakon 2006 when I was in the Metal Gear panel and I checked it out, but I miss your alls Pre-Order at the con in the artist alley.

But man, this weekend I was weak, I think my favorite parts was when Snake bashed that Solider in the head with the Radio and the flashback with Campbell running and Snake jumps down and breaks arms and rips people apart, LMAO, priceless

Congrats on a great release.....now im just scared to see you all do a Project Snake 2 with a Naked Raiden, BAH! GAH!

That would be none other than your star of the film, Rory O'Boyle.
Whapping was received.
Then he punched me in the balls.

On as serious note, thank you everyone for all the kind words about the movie. All this positive feedback makes it worth all the sacrifices we made in filming it. When i was writing the script, i had no idea how it would be received by MGS fans, but i'm damn happy with the finished product, and i'm glad you all are as well. Please feel free to offer any constructive criticism as well, as we are always looking to improve. Thanks again!!

As for Project: Snake 2.... Never say never, but i'm sure not crazy about writing a movie about Raiden... naked or clothed. I think it's more up to if Rory wants to wear that under-armor for another year.

Finally got to watch Project: Snake on Saturday, and I enjoyed it immensely, probably even moreso than I did River City Rumble. It was simply a enjoyable and coherent romp through one of my favorite game series. Best of all? The non-gamers in the group watching of it liked it just as well as the ones that had played the game multiple times years ago. The only difference was we had to answer the question "Did that really happen in the game?" with "Yes. No. ... Kind of. Look, it's a Hideo Kojima game." :p

The audio outsourcing was well worth it. Unlike Silent Horror, most everything came in clear, though the music's presence was a little too strong for my taste in some areas (This could also be in part due to a crummy sound system the location of viewing. I'll check this out later.) Still, it was worth the time and effort.

One of my favorite scenes? The tank battle. It was a scene a friend of mine and I had been discussing for a while how it could be done before the DVD arrived, and you guys did it so well in all of its low-budget glory. I was sad there wasn't a second run-in for the character's second appearance, but ah well.

So, kudos to you guys and keep up the good work. I know I'll be watching.

Are there any throwbacks to the original NES version? Because that's the only one I've played.

Not really any throwbacks from the past games, except well it's not really a throwback, but they show Snake from back in the day in the jungle fighting soldiers and Frank Jaeger (aka Ninja) who I believe according to the commentary, that was a original scene they wrote.

Speaking of which...........Is it just me or on the Delete Scenes menu, can anyone select the Commentary off Play All Button??? I can't on my copy.

Oh yeah, found a easter egg, very funny......the tribute to the Genome soldiers, LMAO, dude eating a banana with a ski mask on, hahahah! To those who dunno how to get it, select "Chapter Select" on the main menu, and keep switching down the pages to the last chapter and a big huge cartoon cat will be highlighted once you get to the end, just press play and enjoy!

Great job guys!
