Honestly, the tutorial kicked my ass when I was 12 and I never picked up the game again. I suck that bad at stealth games.

Maybe it's time to try it again now that you're older.

I was very bad at stealth games, but I'd recommend trying the tutorial again. The only thing I played up until Metal Gear Solid was the stealth part in Ocarina of Time where you sneak into Hyrule castle. The funny thing is, I sucked at that, but I was only 8. Anyways, I finally picked up the MGS: Essential Collection and beat the first game in a week after having played through the tutorials a fair amount. It is definitely awesome game you should give a chance again.

Maybe it is, but I got owned when I played Manhunt two years ago so I'm not confident in my ability to succeed at all. I always just wanna charge in and kill. That's why I suck at chess too.

I can see what you are saying. I got to a few points where I thought "Screw this, I'm going to just kill a few genome soldiers and be on my way." It felt pretty difficult to get past certain parts for me without getting caught, so I choked a lot of guards and stuck to many a wall. Metal Gear Solid may not be for everybody though, like how the Devil May Cry games are not for me since I suck at them. The thing is, Hideo Kojima wanted to do an alternate take action games by focusing more on stealth and less on run in like John Rambo. If you want to charge and kill, definitely try Dead Rising. I myself suck at chess because I re-enact the Russian Revolution of 1917. The pawns represent the peasants and Bolsheviks and every other piece is the aristocracy.

Well said. I too am terrible at Devil May Cry though I am good at similar games. I could never beat the Knight dude.

Same, that Knight Demolished me because I just fought a bunch of enemies before that. I just stick to Shinobi, Streets of Rage 2, the NES Ninja Gaidens, and River City Rumble if I want to beat stuff up. Oh yeah, don't get me started on shoot 'em ups haha.

I thought that Mensa Locust was especially hilarious on my fifth viewing of the film. I wonder what was different this time? Did I just have Lathan on the brain?

Yeah, see how funny Mensa Locust is on the fifth watching. I'm scientifically curious to see if there is a "Lathan Effect" on the fifth viewing of this film. Also Genome #249 is great.

To conclude my first year of PhD, I had an 8 hour long take-home exam today. I just wanted y'all to know that I started the exam off with the Project Snake soundtrack, and credit it with what I believe was a job well done. The music is still stuck in my head.
