The Swap Meet Thread

Inspired by Joe's game sale, and my need for certain items that board members may have I decided to start this generic swap meet thread. If you have a want or something to sell then merely post it here. (i.e. if I could get a mod to sticky this that would be awesome.)

WANTED:
-Microwave ovens of any size or working order. Not working welcome as well.
-Old computers, no matter how old or out of date. If it has a working processor, mother board, RAM, and ethernet port that's all I need.

I have an ancient computer that doesn't have an ethernet port. I want military memorabillia, specifically patches. Got any spares Mahoney? I'm also looking for a large knife-sharpener. My wife is a chef and we want to keep her professional knives in good working order. I'm also looking for some Chinese Hook Swords( a pair), a Wakizashi, a kukri, a tai chi sword, a wooden practice tai chi sword, a bokken(bigger the better), Two Escrima Sticks, a naranja,

I also want dreamcast games. Typing of the Dead(with keyboard please), Tokyo Extreme Racer, Zombies Revenge.

Playstation and PS2 games: Fatal Frame, Fatal Frame 2, Rule of Rose, Parasite Eve.

Stuff I would like to unload: my ACUs, some of my old BDUs, Patrol Caps to match size 7 5/8. Will post more stuff for unloading later.

HAVE: piles and piles of upholstery fabric, crafty items (small geeky sculpts, pixel blankets, can make thing on request), random sports gameboy games, old theatre books, picture frames


WANT: polymer clay (sculpey, fimo, premo, whatever), MST3K, fish food, money, fleece (anything bigger that 2.5 inches squared), really awful movies (including vhs)

I just wanted to say that I think this thread is a great idea.

Despite the fact that I have seen waaayy too many articles lately about how bartering is the new "it" thing to do in a crippling economic downturn ("300,000 people lost their jobs today and are unable to feed their families. But some folks are turning lemons into lemonade by trading their old shit with each other on the Internet! Yay!"), I really espouse the notion that one man's trash is another man's treasure. Possessions are not simply disposable things, and it's far better to get something secondhand than to buy it brand new at Target just because it was cheaply made by Chinese prison labor.

That came out snarkier than I meant it to. Ignore my sarcasm, Mahoney, and just know that I think this thread's a great idea. I'm already scouring my house trying to think of things that someone else might get better use out of than me

Cheap Cheap I have MST3K "The Wild Wild World of Batwoman" and "Manos: the Hands of Fate" on DVD. In the bad movie department I have "Stay Alive"DVD , "Psycho Diver"VHS , "Battle Skipper" volume 1-3 VHS. Will post more of these later. Then you can review them!

I have a small handful of MST3K on VHS. Mostly records from season 8 SciFi episodes, but I have the official VHS release of Mitchell and a bootleg VHS of The Amazing Colossal Man.
If interested, I'd let go for shipping costs and maybe a few bucks or some nifty craft trinkets. PM me.
