Good god, I don't know how anyone could keep a straight face staring down Ekkebus in that wiggling white beard... I'm amazed there wasn't spontaneous combustion with laughter, lol.

Both the documentary and the Sidequest podcast reeeeeeeally lay it all out though. Watching the blogs never really gave us an idea as to just how insane the whole shabang was. But damn it all, I wish cameras had been rolling when Steve collapsed in the Swamp Monster costume, lol.

Oh, there was. If more outtakes ever see the light of day, you'll see proof of that.

May I just say that Darrin's costume was awesome?

Man, Darrin wears a girl's shirt and gets people complementing his costume. I wear a milk carton on my head and NO ONE CARES! See if I ever dress up in full costume again!

However, in all fairness, I'd have done Darrin in a heartbeat, me...not so much.

Another thing I'd like to add. A cowboy mage named Paladin? Priceless.

I tried to check this out recently (remembered the great laughs at MAGfest from the original airing) and someone made most of the videos private, any chance they could be public again? the only videos we can see are 1, 2, and 8

Fixed. Looks like YouTube cut the audio on the last segment again, but we've got it hosted here so no worries.

So after listening to the "Sidecasting" podcast, I have one thing to ask: Is there any way we could at least see the sketches for some of those incredible monsters? A stegosaurus with road-sign status effects? Cthuluphant? The mythical Sasshopper? The ferocious SwearCrow?

Verticat?

The doc and podcast were both great. Nice to see that for all the vexations, no one seemed to hold a grudge or anything. Or at least, not on camera, anyway.
