He's in a Muslim country. It's about respecting the home country, says pappy. He told me it would be a bad idea to send him some porn playing cards. Let's not get Wood into trouble! ^_^ heh.

Yeah I wouldn't try to get wood in trouble, but I think you boys should be allowed to have a little fun, so well I'll just have to get more creative with my gifts!

Is there anything you can't/won't eat foodwise? I'd hate to send you pecan sandies if you hate nuts, you know?
Can I send pornographic snacks?

Don't like nuts all that much, never had nipples if Venus, but they sound good. I don't know how long it takes to get out here though. Just a thought for perishible goods.

I hate to say it, but nobody should bother with snacks. It takes forever to get there, chocolate melts, and everything WILL get crushed. There are ways to be thoughtful that don't involves showing down on a handful of crumbs.

My best bet is tootsie rolls. Do you like tootsie rolls?

Maybe there's something that you like that's properly packaged in a container that you can't get over there. Do you like your food spicy? Need some Rooster Sauce? Maybe there's a particular type of gum that you can't find?

As you're there longer I'm sure you'll start to crave stuff. Just say the word and it'll be out there to you. Well, if it's doable that is. There's plenty of time and random stuff ta send to see how long it takes for shipping. haha

Ok, so the base here isn't that bad, and I finally have a day off coming up! I'm also on charge of one of the dorms, and I seem to be one of the top techs in my shop already. Things are starting to roll into place now. Right now I'm just waiting to get my ccaf transcript sent to Bellevue university so I can start my BS in Game and Simulation. I think I have rime for one class while I'm up here.

Oh as far as care packages go, since I don't have reliable internet here, I cannot see any Internet videos, nor can I download any podcasts. So as weird as this sounds, is there anyway I could the x-strike podcast mailed to me, along with any shorts that come out while I'm out here?

I sent him a letter on the 5th and it got to him on the 12th. So give it a week for letters.
I also sent him a box on the 10th, so we'll see how long that takes to get there. I didn't zoom mail it either, just yer basic priority. Didn't really think it'd make that much of a difference if it still had to go thru the military's mailing system. heh.

Never knowing what ta send him has been a tough, yet fun creative experience. Hell, the box has pop rocks in it. hmm, maybe cds would work well too...

Expect a data package soon. I'll send you a thumb drive. Send it back when you have them on your PC. Transmission ends.
