Talk about ANYTHING

Thank you guys so much for the support so far! I got my package in yesterday from Steph, so it looks like about 7 days is the standard.

So an update!

I've had my first day off today in three weeks it seems, so that's always a plus. Internet access has been really difficult to get a hold of, so I had to wait until the afternoon to get on. Work has me frustrated a lot of times to the point where I feel like stabbing a puppy, but that's what I get for getting a job that's very much customer service. Rainy season started up today, so I'm in for a few months of cold ass rain and a ton of mud...and not the fun kind. Also got my H1N1 shot yesterday, which immediately gave me a runny nose. I have no idea why it would give me that. It's pretty annoying too. Also planned on taking boxing while I'm here. I might be able to prove the old axiom while doing it too. Speaking of which, I ended up ordering myself the PC version of SF4, and a Hori EX2 stick. Just further proof that I hate my money. So far it's been just alright out here.

Again, I've been really appreciating the care packages you guys have been sending me, so thank you guys so much!

Ok, got another wonderful package from Steph! When I have time I'll go through that anime, as it looks really funny, and a little educational! Also, I look so damn drunk in some of those vids you sent me. Plus, I got to introduce my roommate to those GI Joe PSA's, so he'll get the joke now when I start yelling "OH FUCK, GET THE FUCK OUT, WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU IDIOT! GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE!"

Only issue would be to find a good context for that line...

Update! I'm looking more and more like the golden kid around my shop with some of jobs I've been doing. Ended up knocking some high priority jobs out of the park. All and all, pretty productive. Also, since my roommate is into lifting, I've actually been working out a lot more, so hopefully it's tank mode when I get home. Plus I got some protein and other supplements along the way now too. So you know what that means! Beefcake...BEEFCAKE!

So yeah, been loving the care packages I've been getting. If you just want to send letters, I would absolutely love that as well!

Oh, and I spent my Turkey day working, though that's not very surprising here.

Glad you're enjoying the videos. That's what Steph gets when she hands me a blank DVD and wanders off.
Also glad to hear you're settled in and starting to get some time off. My AFSC only offers one location and that's up in Al Udeid, 6 on 1 off, 12 hour shifts. Compared to our usual spoiled selves it's a lot of work, but compared to 'real' jobs, it's cake.
Suffer with me, will you?

So WWE put on a show at my base. So if you're even remotely a fan of professional wrestling, watch the special 19 Dec. I can't promise you'll see me, but once I post the pictures somewhere, you'll see where I got them from. Probably the only time I'll get to see a live WWE event!

I was thinking about that the other day, and meant to ask if you were going to be attending. I'll definitely be watching, and post the video here if I see you on TV!

Here's a link to some of the pictures I took while WWE visited my base. Some of them came out really good, considering there were some really tall dudes in front of me. http://picasaweb.google.com/spinkotron/WWEVisit#

Hopefully the link works, I'm trying to find a good solution to share my photos with people.

Did someone record that WWE salute to the troops special? Also, what should I do when I finally get back to the states around the beginning of May? I was thinking of doing a WAGfest of sorts, but I have no where to do the celibration at the moment.

We may not be able to really plan your Welcome Home party until it gets closer to May. Know that you'll have one, just that the details need to get worked out. We can keep it in the back of our minds tho and see what comes our way. Cause yeah, as of now I can't think if of a place with enough room, a good location, without baby/family imposing going on.

Ryan, those pictures are awesome! The final one of you and the group shot of Superstars is amazing.

I did tape the Tribute to the Troops special, and I tried my best to look for you in the crowd.... but it was a giant sea of fatigues, so I couldn't quite spot you! But we can go through it on slow-mo, and find you. I'm glad they put that show on for you, it came off really entertaining on TV, and you guys and gals were really into it. Classiest move of the year for the WWE.

We should schedule a SnowBrawl IV: Tribute to the Ryan show for your return. Location: TBA.

Trust me, I was just as shocked! I'm still suprised Vince McMahn was there as well! But I still don't understand why people think Kelly Kelly is all that hot. She's way too damn skinny for me...then again, that would be the case if I even had a shot at her. But all and all, fun times.

BTW, what's SnowBrawl?

I thought Tim was being sarcastic. Rey Rey is 5'4. Even I have a couple inches on him!

Vince always heads over for the Tribute Shows. Great photo ops for him. Again, very jealous on the picture, Ryan!

I'll use this thread to wish you a Merry Christmas this year Wood. I hope you and all the men and women over seas this year are safe, free from harm, comfortable, and know that each and every one of them is loved dearly back home. Please extend the thanks of everyone from here at X-Strike, and from all of our fans, to your fellow airmen this holiday season. God Bless you Ryan, and God bless the troops.
