I hope you and all the men and women over seas this year are safe, free from harm, comfortable, and know that each and every one of them is loved dearly back home. Please extend the thanks of everyone from here at X-Strike, and from all of our fans, to your fellow airmen this holiday season. God Bless you Ryan, and God bless the troops.

I really appreciate the kind words from you, and I've been appreciating all of the stuff that's you guys have been sending me, as well as your support. To be honest, this week had be really hard for me. I was stressed due to my work load, on top of monthly inventories, on top of making sure the airmen I'm looking out for stops being a total asshat, on top of missing my first white Christmas and possibly one bad ass Magfest. Plus my boxing class was cancelled due the instructor going home after his deployment, leaving me with one less way to cope with the stress out here. Hell, two days ago I was thinking "I just want to go home".

But, my inventory is accounted for, my work load will lighten up, I'm doing much better today, and my X-Box 360 is here, with my two hori sticks. Hopefully I can put together that Street Fighter IV tournament for charity while I'm out here, plus I might even go crazy and pre-order Bayonetta. Then again, that may be a bad idea, due to the sheer amount of raging testosterone going on here. Also, when I get really bad, I usually feel better because I'm working off a large portion of my credit card debt while I'm out here, so things are still looking up...plus I still have all of my limbs and the ability to process oxygen, which is always good here.

Alright, just got my MagFest care package, and I cannot thank you guys enough for it! I was watching a little of the DVD you guys sent me, and I was damn near rolling with laughter! Though I'm sad I missed Magfest this year, I'm really happy you guys thought of me to send me all of that cool stuff. I don't know how to thank you guys enough for it, but I'll find a way. Perhaps a badass WagFest or sorts?

The best part was filling out the declaration form. I really had to resist the urge to write "Gently Used Comic Book" and price it around $500.
Suffer with me, will you?

Goddamn that was fast. Sometimes it takes longer for me to get shit from not even half way across the country, much less halfway across the world.

Um, about that, I didn't get the footage from MagFest 8, unless it's hidden somewhere. The DVD I got was the X-Strike Showcase stuff. The Wasteland Survival Guide had me rolling!

Hooray! Glad you got it Wood! I keep adding videos to the pack, so that's going to go out tomara...heh. It's just cause I know his feed isn't great and YouTube videos aren't really a possibility. I mean, how else was he going to get any A_Rival action? >.< Grr!

Ok, so I got the DVDs on Friday, and I'm so happy that I finally have it! So far I've only gotten through the Party stuff, and I was simultaniously happy and depressed watching them. Happy because I was able to see my friends again, and depressed I wasn't able to be there in the revelry. So soon I'll have to get through the rest of the stuff, though I feel it'll be several hours to do that. Thank you guys so much!

UPDATE!

Since 1 Feb 2010 I have been working night shift. Things have been a lot less hectic, and I can relax a little, though still a 12 hour shift and there's still ass-hats here that don't realize that I sleep during the day. Also, still way behind in going tank mode out here. Been playing on my laptop a lot, and I have a favor to ask. If anyone has the PC version of both Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2, are you able to download the DLC and send it to me on a DVD? I know the ME2 stuff is easy to do, however the DAO stuff is a little more difficult as you have to find a mirror can download the files outside of the client.

Also, I'm starting to need to look for a place to live when I get back, and to be frank I could us a roommate so I can rent out a decent house as opposed to an apartment. Also, anyone looking to get a hotel room for AMA? Hopefully if we don't have a WAGFest before that we'll just have to party there as it's the first Con I'm going to after my deployment.

I should be doing AMA, but don't have a hotel room at the moment. Want to combine forces again?
