Wasteland Survival Guide

Postby bokista on Sun Jan 03, 2010 9:12 pm

The WSG shorts were absolutely amazing. They play so well to your strengths: creative imagining of something very specific, great writing, expressive physical acting, and strong punchy editing.

Unlike other premieres in the past where there was always something you could go back to tweak to make your movies better, I think WSG is totally perfect as is. They're short, sweet, and I think will bring a ton of hits to the site.

Many kudos on the writing, Steve. Oh, and everyone else did a good job too, I guess.

Suffice to say, quite possibly EVERYONE will agree that the WSG will be well-worth the wait after they've seen it.

Glad me and Steve had a nice long chat after the Premiere Extravaganza.

I got this as one of my care packages, and I thought it was great!

But where did you find an acapela version of "Stars and Stripes Forever"? I knew it had lyrics, but it was the first time hearing them, let alone not with some sort of Sousa'esque marching band.

I've had that file since the end of high school, waiting for the right place to use it. 10 years later...perfect.

The best thing about the WSG is that you can, with enough time and ideas, keep adding to them. Glad tot see the first one up on the site today :)

Whenever I need a pick-me-up during the day, I'll load up the video and just watch Rory dance in the end credits.
