I had a really great time this year. Everything at the con seemed to run so smoothly. I know there were issues with Fire Marshall Bill at first, but within an hour, I had forgotten all about it. It was great to see everyone and meet some new people! It was great to learn that we didn't almost kill Brett during Silent Horror. Next year I will make sure to bring t-shirts to wear in the concerts instead of wool sweaters and I will make sure that I get, what the kids call, "krunked" with everyone!

I'm missing MAG like whoa right now!

Best moment for me was ending up partying with Alexander fucking Brandon at 5:30 AM Sunday in a "secret location" (Museum)

I almost gave in and sucked that man's cock.

Can someone who's still bummed out they missed it this year join this group?

Heh.

My brother told me he swung by the table and said hi. I'm deeply disappointed that no one smacked him in the balls when he wasn't looking.

Shame, shame.

Can I get a re-do of MAGFest 9? Not because I thought it was a bad MAG, but I just want to be at MAGFest again.

It was great seeing everyone. I had the best Executive Assistant ever to keep my head on and level for the entire time. I had awesome fun with everyone. I really want the next year come around and still be able to go. We'll see how it is in a house with a 2 year old and a 9 month old at that time.

Anyway, I was super happy Shayla made it, even though I think I saw her all of twice. It might have been more, Saturday night gets fuzzy. Black Chad made it, very awesome as well. Zombaree games were epic and fun. I had momentous time, yes.

See... this is why F-Fest started. Because we didn't want to wait a whole year until the next MAG.

-Finding out that Ben DIDN'T know the golf club story was a lie.
-PROTOMEN
-The Return of the Fizzes
-WILfest
-Onimushots going off with only minor hitches
-Video Game Folklore panel was wildly successfull
-Finally showing Off Campus
-Friends
-MAGfest

I'm glad I didn't come home with Con-Plague like everyone else, but the petit mort I suffered friday morning was more than enough to compensate. Watching the Colossus noise wear out it's welcome was hilarious.

It was a great year, and something felt very definitive about this MAGfest. I almost want to say it felt like closure, to a degree, to the first era of MAGfest. I think heretofore MAGfest is going be a bit different; a bit bigger, a bit less intimate than we are used to. I'm very happy for the success of the con, but somehow I feel a little sad to see it grow up.

I really hope someone recorded and uploaded Name That Tune! I keep hearing I was the only person that was really passionate during the game. Also the reference to my SC2 habits when I missed the tune was really funny.

I am stuck home sick with con crud but I smile with every sniffle and here's why...

Obviously the biggest part of MAGFest this year for me was surprising Juese. I'll never forget the look on his face when he saw me. But it was fun to surprise everyone else too. Also, I really fucking needed this. I am so worn down by school that sometimes I forget what it is to have fun. MAGFest quickly quenched my thirst for joy and then some.

My highlights:
-Surprising Juese. Fucking, yeah! Props to Rory, Jay, and Amy for helping me not spoil the surprise. AND props to Tim for assisting my covert operation.
-Seeing everyone - it was like a long lost family reunion. I love you guys so much.
-Playing Match Game (sorry my initial response to being picked was "shit!") - downs syndrome, banana shanks, and afterbirth forever!
-A_Rival was fucking awesome
-Off Campus!! As Ben said after Juese's line about giving girls his sex, "That's alllll yours!" Be still my beating heart.
-As much as I hate goodbyes (as evidenced by my annual cry-fest), sometimes they can be pretty amazing too. Amy, what you said to me will keep me going for the next several months until I'm done with school.

I'm so glad I got to see everyone, even if it was for just one night. Thank you so much for making a girl feel loved. You guys are awesome.

Best thing about Baby's First MAGfest:
-So many of you I've only known on these boards, and many of you that I've actually met in person only got a brief introduction and some basic chit-chat at a rowdy party. At MAGfest, I got to spend real, actual, quality time getting to know some really great people. That's how friendships are born, kids, and I feel blessed that I made so many new friends.

Other bits of awesomeness:
-Off Campus turned out just as good as I hoped it would, and got an amazing response from our audience. Thank you!
-I was able to contribute one or two mildly humorous lines to the Improv show, in spite of my apprehension at not having performed improv in about ten years. Match Game and Name That Tune were also tons of fun.
-4am Rock Band w/Joe and Wil.
-2am sing-a-long after Onimu-Shots.
-10pm on Sunday, when the pinball tables were clear enough to play a rockin' four-player game with my friends.
-I was actually asked to sign an autograph. Ego officially satisfied :)
Oh, not in Utica, no...It's an Albany expression.

MAGFest was amazing, but it went by too quickly.

It was nice to meet several board members before the Onimushots Contest, didn't stick around because it seemed way to crowded as it was and I didn't have a shot to contribute. Heard a lot about it from horsewnoname though, sounded like everyone had a blast.

Thanks Kevin, for the "Operation: Galactic Storm" comics that you gave out at the Match Game.

I loved all of the panels, VG Improv, Off-Campus Premiere, Match Game, etc... and all the concerts rocked!.

Thanks again guys, for another great MAGFEST!! Can't wait til MAGFest X!

I have practically no video with you in it (visually that is, you can be heard a few times), but all the footage that Omar filmed for me during the second half is already on my YouTube channel.

The camera started blinking a red light (which I now think was a warning that the video was approaching 4 GB). Otherwise, we would have filmed that part too. I was a little occupied with getting the late-running panel finished off to take a look.

It's funny. I was getting a sense of that, too in spite of not being able to go. It was just a weird feeling I got from pictures I've seen and stories I've heard.

Finally getting back to it next year is just going to be surreal for me. I haven't been since 2009, and I have a feeling I may not recognize it. That won't necessarily be a bad thing though.
