Crunchy Pecans

This is a recipe my grandpa gave me. It's easy to make, but incredibly delicious

You'll need:
1 lb roasted, unsalted pecan halves
2 egg whites
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine
salt

Preheat the oven to 325. Whip the egg whites to stiff peaks, and gradually add all of the sugar. Fold the pecans in until all are coated in the egg/sugar mixture. Melt your butter right on a cookie sheet, and then spread the pecans out into one single layer (you may need 2 cookie sheets to make this happen. Divide the butter in that case.) Sprinkle a little salt over them all and place in the oven for 30 minutes. Every 10 minutes, turn them/mix them up and sprinkle a little more salt (don't over-do it, though.) When they're done, let them cool 30-60 minutes, and then store them in an airtight container. Try not to eat them all in one sitting.

I actually wrote this before you did, in fact, eat them all in one sitting.
