Saints Row: The Third

This has to be one of the funniest goddamn games ever. I don't dig open world games much, but this one is too insane not to play. I never played 1 or 2 and the only reason I checked this one out (on PC) was because I heard about how crazy it is.

Almost finished with this game and I have to say this might be the most underrated game of the year. This is one of the funniest games I have ever played with a ton of "Holy shit that is awesome!!" moments.

How is the 'upload your own music' element implemented? That plus the promise of hilarity and fun might make this an appealing rental after Skrimmage.

No idea what you are even talking about sir. I am playing it on the PC for what it is worth.

Don't know how it works on PC, but one of the novelties on the Xbox (or so i'm told) is that you can run your own music in-game off of a drive. Not sure how it was integrated (radio, random cues, etc) into the actual game, as I know jack about how Saints Row plays.

Oh that, you can do that with most games, but I never use it. The in-car radio for SR3 actually has some pretty good songs. Sometimes the characters even sing along.

I chose Troy Baker (Vincent from Catherine) as my voice, but there are like 8 voices including a zombie (which has some hilarious moments from what I have seen on YouTube). From what I have seen though, Troy Baker seems to the best of them all and he has turned in one of the best voice performances I can remember in a long time.

I never even gave Saints Row 1 and 2 a chance because I assumed they were GTA ripoffs. But when I saw the preview video for SR3, I pre-ordered immediately. Doing random wrestling moves on pedestrians was so funny. I love this game. I agree that it is one of the funniest games. I laughed so much through it. I actually like it better than GTA IV. Now I bought the SR 1 and 2 pack. I would post some of my screenshots, but the SR3 website is bad.
