Now mind you, I'm certainly looking forward to another Nolan Batman. That being said, I was sad to say this trailer did nothing for me. Hasn't turned me off from the movie, but didn't do much to rile me either. oh, and Bane's mask is silly.

There were so many details about the trailer that have me very excited.

- Bruce Wayne and Alfred in prison
- Bane's army (?) kidnapping rich people
- Some one repealing down the well that leads to the bat cave. Location revealed?
- Bane standing over a bloodied Bruce Wayne. Identity revealed?
- Catwoman's anti wealth speach to Bruce
- Batman fighting Bane in day light. Bane lured him out of the Dark?
- That chant!

Yeah me and Rory came out both like....that was the trailer? The trailer was a teaser, the teaser was a trailer. Everything else is paraphrasing Rory.

Hobbit trailer with Tin Tin, and a sneaky little flick I'm waiting for called John Dies at the End should get one soon too. I forgot that big movie season (one of the most prominent Christmas blockbuster seasons I can think of that wasn't about one movie) brings big trailer season.

Not to derail the thread, but do you mind if I open it up to other trailers people want to talk about as well as the Dark Knight Rises? Your thread, YOUR CALL!

All I could think of during the shot of the football stadium blowing up was Cole's thrashball flashback in Gears 3.

My biggest problem with this movie is everything involving Catwoman so far has made me cringe, especially her 'down with the richers!' speech in the trailer.

I was all excited over the Hunger Games and then I thought, "wait, do I really want to watch a PG-13 Battle Royale?" Haven't read the books (although I think I'll follow Chad's suggestion and watch the movie first and then read the books so I don't work myself up into a purist frenzy and bitch about how "it wasn't like that in the book!")...

Saw some trailer for a Liam Neeson movie where he's battling wolves (I totally thought this was gonna be a Liam Neeson cannibal movie, shows what I know) in a desperate attempt to survive... I'll wait 'til that hits the discount theater.

Um, what else (these were all on Sherlock Holmes)... MIB^3 (heh... but yay, Emma Thompson in the trailer?) - again, discount theatering that one...

Hopefully Dark Knight Rises will come out on my birthday this year and I can have something awesome to do that day beyond going to class.

I'm willing to give MIB3 a look after hearing that it is more or less intended to be an apology for MIB2. Josh Brolin as young K is pretty fun.

I think I'm more excited about the new Ghost Rider than Dark Night Rises at this point. I'm a big fan of the Crank team at this point, and think a character as absurd as the rider is going to be a welcome playground for them to go nuts in. Idris Elba and Christopher Lambert aren't hurting my interest either.

I'm definitely looking forward to "Dark Knight Rises", but I was surprised to find I was more excited by "The Hobbit." I really haven't cared about it up to this point, and then I saw Ian McKellan as Gandalf, and all that went out the window.

Seriously looking forward to "Tintin." That character was huge where I grew up.
