I definitely go back to some of the old podcasts from time to time. It's interesting to have the full views on movies and games from the announcement, to previews, to actual viewing/playing, and finally looking back on what sucked and what was awesome.

Some of the older podcast episodes are some of the funniest you'll ever hear. Also, it's great to go back and remember old get-togethers and such. Might be why I maintain the Dropbox archives.

As for the last episode, I'm very glad that Juese did mention the release of Source FilmMaker. The way FilmMaker works, any game based on the Source engine (TF2, L4D 1 and 2, Portal 1 and 2, etc) can be used to create your own movies.

If you don't use any official Valve art assets, you can create and even sell your creations. What this means, is that if you create the character models, sets, etc, you can make and sell movies.

Now, who's up for SideQuest: The Animated Movie? I know someone who is already chomping at the bit to do some model work.

I listen to them from time to time, but not with any degree of consistency. Generally it feels a bit masturbatory to listen to my own opinions, but as TIM noted it is worthwhile to listen to your evolution as a speaker. In general I prefer to listen to more issue/discussion based podcasts than simple commentary on news or what we've been playing.

Hey Rez/anyone: friend of ours (Mackenzie that was on that one podcast) is looking for the LA Noire discussion(s), any ideas as to which episodes?

I can't listen to us, I know us too well. And I always feel like my public speaking is regressing. The only ones I think I've gone back to are the Sidequest special and one of the Wilcasts. Masturbatory, if you don't like the feel of your own penis.

as mentioned before, I listened to the first wiLcast last year partly by accident and partly to remind me of.our gaming resolutions. It's eye opening to hear myself talk for "radio" like that and strange. I always thought I was shy and crap at public speaking but once I get rolling i'm ok (see: Tales of a UK Gamer) thought I was crap on that but when I looked back and watched some of it, it gave me an ego boost :p

Haven't listened to any of the casts I was on during WILFest : New Game + though, I made the ego boost of hearing myself on the podcast once already. Though it was pretty funny when my housemate listened to one of them not aware at the start of the episode that I was on it. Hearing his reaction through his open door was hilarious.

I want to relisten to the old cast with the discussion of Yoshimitsu and Lizard Ma's roadtrip. That shit cracked me up and remains firmly in my memory.

Oh and I, like Rez have attempted to archive and keep hold of the old episodes, thanks to iTunes keeping them on my old hard drive, though I think I have some missing, which i'll get off Rez at some point.

Does anyone remember on which episode told the story about accidentally downloading kiddie porn? Because that is totally something I should hear myself talk about.

I believe the LA Noire conversation was TripleRaidio 56 or at least close to that one.

I believe it's 55 for the actual game discussion. 56 is where Tim declared himself done with the game, and called it a piece of shit.

Edit: Just confirmed it. 55 is the lengthy discussion between Dave and Tim about LA Noire.

You want XSSP-015 - A Tale of Soul and Swords for the great tale of Yoshimitsu and Lizardman.

The tale of Dave dissing Silent Hill 2 the first time he met Rory never gets old. I also really enjoy the two anniversary commentaries. Dear god though I wish someone would have been recording the Silent Horror live commentary at MAGFest when the lie was finally revealed to Ben. Golden moment.

In line with the commentaries though, is there a chance that you guys might whip one of those out again? Or perhaps a little...Vic Tokai?

I don't mind Dave's Big Rigs truckin through the podcast when you acknowledge them and make fun of him for it.
