What's everyone doing?

Postby Ekkebus on Tue May 30, 2006 3:58 pm

Posting has been down a bit lately I think. What's everyone been up to? All working full time now that schools out? Your fingers break rendering you unable to type? You dead?

I haven't been posting as much since I haven't been checking the boards as much at work. When not at work I'm either playing games or at capoeira so time in front of the computer is slim.
I'm out like the gout.

Work, Metal Slug 2 through 5, KoF Neowave, and video editing. That just about summarizes everything I'm doing.

Wow you do capoeira? Do you know Lamont?

I've been having band practice around 4 times a week (2 bands) and still working part time at Tops. New SMB and Mario Kart have been eating up my time. I've also been finishing up FF4.

Sorry if I havent responded much. Im just finishing up High School. 3 days left then we go to the Great Escape on the 6th of June and then graduate on the 20th. I am going college soon and hopefully I still will be able to resume Fred Villari's Shaolin Kempo Karate at the same time. I have been bowling too. Hopefully I can get a new bowling ball because my AMF ball sucks because I am averaging 130 with it and I want to see if I can shoot for 180 average.

I'm either at work, playing the Cube, or I'm hanging out with friends. I'm online for like 5 minutes a day anymore.

Working the 'ol 9-5... or the 4-12 ..or whatever other god-awful hours they decide to give me. Other than that, I'm working on my website and occassionally doing work on Project Snake. Also working on a new art project, all the while using whatever free time I have left to finally beat the following games:

1. Resident Evil 4
2. Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes
3. Shadow of the Colossus
4. Chrono Trigger (for the 63rd time)

Hey Tim thanks for asking. ^_^;;

In no particular order:
Regular 9-5 crap.
Anime USA stuff
Robert's newest book coming out next month
Building a cardboard boat to be raced on Sunday
Ended up going to Balticon instead of Animazement cause I didn't wake up in time, which I'm actually glad about
Dinners and chilling
Some Oblivion here and there (like I've played 2ice)
Went to a high school play
Calling my mom
Sleep

I have so much more to do...all I want is some ice cream, my fleece blanket and to see Harrison Ford in Sabrina, while curled up on my couch. Alone. With no phone or email. And my cat is sleeping. Am I asking for too much?? *sob*

3:Art. Been photoshopping and inking my ass off on various projects
4:Spending time with the girlfriend.
5:Being tired and broke alot

Here's what I SHOULD be doing... also, in no particular order:

1:Hangin' with you guys
2:Filming my own shit
3:Being rich (as in, having alot of money... not, y'know, not any weird body-snatching bullshit involving Rich)
4:Playing video games
5:Working out
6:Rocking your fucking worlds

End

Can I ask WHY? What in the world could justify that?

Being from Buffalo it's good that you don't understand DC area traffic. I live in Herndon too so I can only guess that he works in DC, Alexandria or Rockville, or somewhere aweful like that (aweful not to work or live there, just that it takes 2 hours to get there). I'm happy enough I work in Vienna and it takes me 30-45 min to get there. Although w/o traffic it takes closer to 20 min to get there. Very sad. I really miss Rochester and it taking me average 15 min to get anywhere.

For some real justification, I'd hope he's getting paid well. At least, well enough....

Wait...are you from the Lake George area, or is an entirely different Great Escape?
It's not a toy. It makes real cupcakes, with a 40 watt bulb, and there's icing packets. But the secret ingredient is love. Damn it.

I am from Williamstown which is a very small community in Western Massachusetts. I can literally walk to Vermont in about 5 minutes because my family and I live right next to it. If theres a Great Escape in Lake George thats probably the one my class is going to because its not that far from where I live.

I'm living in a cave because I left my cell phone charger in Buffalo I think. So if you guys see a random grey colored cord plugged into your surge protector that goes no where.... that's me.

When I'm not making pillows out of towels and empty draino bottles then I am getting ready to start a landscaping job. Between that and wondering how to make this month's rent I'm at a loss for words.

Oh yeah, I still haven't beaten subsistence.
