Delicious Hot Choconate

With winter radidly approaching, the time has come for a tasty hot cocoa recipe that is more complicated than pouring some Quik into a cup of hot milk and stirring briskly.

Kids! Ask your Mom and Dad before proceeding, or risk a Healthy Beating!

You'll Need:

1 heaping teaspoon of unsweetened cocoa (I prefer Hershey's Dutch Cocoa)
2 heaping teaspoons of sugar
1 cup of tasty, white milk (i prefer whole milk for this recipe)
1 dash of salt

Simply mix together the cocoa, sugar, and salt together in the bottom of a mug. Add between 2 and 3 tablespoons of your available milk to blend together your dry ingredients, and stir until smooth. Pour in the rest of your milk. At this point, you can add some sort of flavoring, if you so desire. I tend to add a pinch of cinnamon and a small capful of vanilla extract. You can also use orange extract or mint extract (a small capful is all you need). A scoop of vanilla ice cream on top is very good, as well, if you like. Also, adding the blood of a defeated enemy will allow you to gain their knowledge and power. There can be only one!

Enjoy the chocolately goodness with someone you love by doubling all quantities, or drink two cups yourself, you pig!

It's only delicious if Nate makes it.

I tried making it on my own once and this is what happened: When I'm not answering phones for a computer backup & storage solutions company (I'd list the company name here because it's cool, but I don't want to risk this coming up on a Google search and being fired-- and NO, we do not make cyborgs), I'm an independent researcher, and one of my biggest projects has been working on developing an artificial skin that can be used to treat severe burn victims. I attempted to make the hot chocolate on my own one day while Nate was out and a horrific explosion ensued (never throw baking powder on a fire, people). Hideously disfigured and left for dead (long lines at Wal-Mart that day, or something, according to Nate), I received an experimental medical treatment that left me super-strong, impervious to pain, but prone to heightened fits of rage (RAIL... SMASH...!). I rebuilt Nate's destroyed kitchen into an underground hideout and began using my synthetic skin to impersonate various characters and engineer my revenge against those who destroyed my life (Hershey's Baking Cocoa, it's ON! Like Donkey Kong!). Reconnecting with Nate though, proved to be my biggest challenge.

I highly suggest Swiss Miss instant cocoa-- the type that come with tiny little shriven marshmallows.

One way I've heard of making some really good hot cocoa is to put milk in a pot on the oven and get it steaming hot. Then you take a peeler like you would use on potatoes and shave off flakes of chocolate from your favorite brand of candy bar. (Yes I realize this plan doesn't work so well if you are a Snickers fiend.)

Hot cocoa sounds good right now. I think it's time for some grocery shopping. And with Hershey Chocoloate World only 30 mins down the road I could get some prime ingredients.

So I do all that but...

Use Drostese cocoa powder
Up the cocoa to two heaping regular ol' crereal type eattin' spoons.
down the sugar to about 1/2 table spoon (you'll see why at the end)
and
add it all to the milk that is heating in a pan and whisk it til hot, but don't burn the mutha fuckin' milk, foo.

THEN! pour into your cup and add- CREME DE MENTH to taste!!!! :-D
and top with all the marshmallow fluff yer mug will hold.

(see, both creme de menth and fluff have a lot of sugar in them already)
I come to you, defenses down, with the trust of a child.
