Yeah, there's button problems on all the DVDs. Nothing major from what I hear.

Received a phone call from Mr. Darrin "The Sicilian" DeMarco himself last night. Should be receiving my copy of Snake fairly soon. And hey Ben, I'll gladly accept that dump in the box I heard rumor of earlier. I'll sell it on e-bay. Skinny guy shit is the new pogs.

Not sure, but on my copy the first delted scene the button that's supposed to return you to the menu doesn't work.

I owe you guys a blowjob for such an excellent movie. And since it looks like astronaut is moving to Jersy the same weekend, I might be able to make good on that promise. :D
I'm a bigger X-Strike fan than you.

well well, the snake has landed. what can i say about this wonderful piece of gaming godliness that hasn't already been said? the fight scenes were excellent and showed a maturity in the choreography by the x-strike crew(ninja and liquid fight scenes were fantastic). the script was genuinely hilarious with some truly classic moments. you guys really hit the nail on the head with the casting on this one. rory as snake is as perfect as it gets. rich as ocelot was excellent and hilarious. skinny ben owns the part of mensa locust. kristen squire is utterly adorable as mei ling...and as already stated, the great portrayal of liquid by tim ekkebus. you guys also made the perfect choice with A-Rival to score the film. he was on top of his game when he made the music to companion this film. could this be the greatest x-strike release yet? i wouldn't doubt it. this is one game parody that delivers in full.

the dvd package itself is also great. the snake eater menu screen, the deleted scenes, the outtakes, and my personal favorite...two jam packed audio commentaries. seemingly an x-strike studios tradition that i hope you guys continue with. two commentaries for p. rappa please! coupled with a free poster(any thoughts on making some cheap posters for rcr, sh, and nth mile to order??) and the signed script paper, i'm glad that i always had a pre-order down on this one. the overall package made the sometimes painful wait entirely worth it.

i've gotta give it up to you guys. keep it up...i can't wait for sidequest, resident horror, and especially nth mile. peace.
i'll hit your ass and put a dimple!

Just finished watching Project: Snake today. I really like Rory's take on Snake, he had the voice down really well. You all have improved tonnes in filming techniques, sound production, etc. Do I smell a sequel? Rock on, X-Strike, and hope to see you at M5 :D

trivia

Postby Jaekwon15 on Tue Oct 17, 2006 3:51 am

Id like to share an interesting bit of trivia with the fans. the sound design for the final fight scene was done by Rob McIntyre. he has also done sound for major productions such as Blade the series. give it up for Rob and his excellent work. i hope he contributes to future projects.

Rob must have been the other reason why this movie was so awesome. Props to him and to x-strike crew.
