I have one of those. It's also blue. I call it the battery blackhole. But yeah, that thing was great.

Hiyas, I'm Mahler. (or just Josh if you do that 'real name' thing) I've been following X-strike for a while, pretty much since I met Rich Durham about a year or so ago and found out he was making video game movies with some other peeps. So then I finally met these 'other peeps' when they came to my campus (Fredonia) for a little mini-con that I helped run. It was tons of fun! (rhyme intended) I played some Soul Calibur, provided some 8-bit-a-licious music to listen to, participated in a trivia game and saw River City Rumble for the 5th time as well as the rough cut of Project Snake for the first. Being a noble video game enthusiast as well as a film/audio editor with 1337 skillz, I offered to help Ben with working on some of the final stages of editing Snake. Basically, I'm kind of a big deal. Yeah...

Peace out

Ahhh, new people....crap, I'm not used to being new.
Fortunately, some of you actually know me. I'm a fan, anything but silent, who was lucky enough to get the 'hook up.' I've been meaning to get in here about...oh, a year ago, but I'm very, very slow. (Yes, feel free to take that any way you feel.)
I'm pappy, some of you know me as Pappy, some of you know me as 'the guy who cooks stuff for massive face-stuffing foodage,' or just 'that drunk guy in the corner' works. My real name is mostly unpronounceable. It is unimportant.
But, I are here now. Quake in fear as the resident IQ and mental accuity slowly drops every time you escape from reality.
Suffer with me, will you?

Pappy is one of my most favourite people who hasn't had sex with me. One of the many reasons why astronaut parties are so great, but one of the best reasons as well. Welcome. About time, bitch.

I'm Dan, and I want to be the very best, like no one ever was.

Also I enjoy joining forums 8 months later than the rest of Fargate Productions.

Hi. I go by Chris, which narrows it down since I think I saw at least three other Chrisses looking over this thread, and I know about eighty more.

Mostly just a fan of the work done here; I've had River City Rumble (awesome) sitting on my shelves for ages, and just picked up a copy of Project Snake (also awesome, and best commentary ever produced for a DVD) at vgXpo a couple weeks ago. Still starving for P. Rappa.

Enough about you, let's talk about me. Mostly got sucked in because I'm an avid gamer, and the only relatively big systems lacking in my collection right now are a PS3, a Master System, and a 360. The 360 problem, I should have fixed this weekend. I enjoy booze, reading crap, collecting more music than I will ever have time to listen to, taking pictures, making references, and watching the internet unravel at its seams.

I'm also delighted to find you have booze and cooking forums here - it's like a dream come true. A very strange dream involving casinos and dangerous amphibians.

If you need something to alienate or make fun of me for, I make costumes. And wear 'em at those convention things. With other dorks. Could be worse, I guess.
I am considered extremely macho by broccoli standards.

greetings

Postby teknoboy on Fri Nov 24, 2006 5:39 pm

Greetings from Maryland! My name is James and I found out about X-Strike at Anime USA last weekend. I saw the Project Snake movie and had to buy all of your dvds. Good stuff! I can't wait for Sidequest!

Also, I'm hoping to go to Magfest in January!

A little about myself: I love old school video games, the SNES being my favorite console, although Lock'N'Chase for the Atari was my first favorite game. I am an anime geek and I occasionally make AMVs (Anime Music Videos) as a hobby since 2001. I love music such as techno, metal, punk, as well as video game music.

Heyo. I'm A-Rey (guy in the Off-Duty Ninja shirt), aka WNxTheWeapon when I'm playing with Warrior Nation. I met the X-Strike guys at AnimeUSA with my friends from VirtualFools, screened their newest movie, and was instantly hooked on their obvious talent and love of all that is good (video games).

I'll be attending MAGFest, and I hope to chat more with everyone here.

Amy here from the lovely Northern VA. I arrived late to the game world and am still trying to play catch up but I work hard to geek out and learn as much as possible.

Aside from wasting my life in Warcraft I make a hobby of being a walking contradiction; Baptist, volunteer youth chaperone/ex-Sunday school teacher, major in veterinary med., day job with computers, weekend job at a club, swing/belly dancer, Renn Rat and certified scuba diver just to start the list. Yeah, it still doesn't make sense to me... Great to be here, though!

I'm Geoffrey! Saying hi from Sammamish, WA! First time I heard about x-strike was through a Nintendo Power article.

Oh yeah. Uh, I'm also somewhat random and special ed (if people these days still call it that).

Anyways, I hope to have fun here, but I do tend to not log in to message boards for long periods of time...
