Asking a lot

Postby FLM on Thu Nov 09, 2006 10:52 am

Ever thought of making one of those shitty little flash games for your movies like they have on Adult Swim and other websites? Like shooting ghouls in an arcade like Silent Horror, playing Bingo with Snake, or drinking Benny and Clyde under the table?

Is it that these games are too fucking hard to make, they're too expensive to make, they take too long to make, no one knows how to do them, no one wants to do them, or it just doesn't seem worth the time?

The reason this is being asked is because I checked out the Metal Gear character bio thing and I REALLY enjoyed it and I was hoping more online content could be introduced for each movie.
(Looking for signs of X-Strike still lingering @ Fredonia...)

Just tell your team you misclicked and shot a destructive barrage of friendly fire because you were high. They'll understand.

I think we've all thought about making games for our movies, but it comes down to me not being able to make a game yet with my knowledge of Flash. As far as more content for the movie pages, we've got some good stuff in mind for Sidequest, but it involves us getting a little bit farther in production.

I designed the X-Strike Promo piece thing for my portfolio in Director... not that it means much of anything, but I figured I'd throw that out there since we're having a Director party.

If I ever have free time and X-Strike's permission, I'm sure I could make some half-decent flash game for the site.
